A group of experts created a website to provide what they say is accurate information about the Imperial Japanese Army’s wartime “comfort women” system and to counter sites that show distorted views of history.
The “Fight for Justice” site (http://fightforjustice.info/) includes an introductory section and a Q&A section, as well as testimonies from those who witnessed the system of “comfort women,” a euphemism for those who were forced to provide sex for Japanese soldiers before and during World War II.
The site also explains why the Imperial Japanese Army set up the system, how girls and women were recruited, and what their lives were like after the war.
